SENDCO

Our current SENDCO is Mrs Raj Kaur who qualified as a teacher in 2010. Following a decision to pursue her interest in Special Educational Needs, Mrs Kaur completed her SENDCO accreditation qualification in 2016. Since then she has further developed her SEN toolkit, undertaking training in various aspects of SEND.

Mrs Kaur works part time but does offer an open-door policy and welcomes the opportunity to discuss your child’s special educational needs and how, as a school, we can support your child’s learning. She co-ordinates the work of all our staff who work with children with additional learning needs.

Parents with concerns relating to the special educational needs of their child may contact Mrs Kaur by emailing the school office and marking the email for the attention of Mrs Kaur/ SENDCO.

School is happy to meet (virtually during COVID restrictions) with parents to discuss any concerns, make referrals to other agencies for additional support, write plans for individual children, provide and seek training to help us respond to the needs of children and very much considers the best way to work in the interests of all our children is by working in partnership with parents.

Our aim is to do our very best to include all the children and to help them all make progress.
